The Temptations are an American vocal group from Detroit, Michigan, who released a series of successful singles and albums with Motown Records during the 1960s and 1970s. Having sold tens of millions of albums, the Temptations are among the most successful groups in popular music. - Classic Hits: "My Girl" (1964), "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" (1966), and "I Wish It Would Rain" (1967), "Cloud Nine" (1968), "I Can't Get Next to You" (1969), "Treat Her Like a Lady" (1984), "Ball of Confusion (That's What the World Is Today)" (1970), "Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)" (1971), and "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone" (1972).

The Four Tops are an American vocal quartet from Detroit who helped to define the city's Motown sound of the 1960s. The group's repertoire has included soul music, R&B, disco, adult contemporary, doo-wop, jazz, and show tunes. The group was the main male vocal group for the highly successful songwriting and production team of Holland–Dozier–Holland, who crafted a stream of hit singles for Motown. These included two Billboard Hot 100 number-one hits for the Tops: "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)" in 1965 and "Reach Out I'll Be There" in 1966. The group continued to have chart singles into the 1970s, including the million-seller "Ain't No Woman" (1973). Other Classic Hits: "Bernadette" (1967), "Walk Away Renée" (1968), "Ain't No Woman (Like the One I've Got)" (1973).
