Product code: Kodel standard 5 logodyne 2024 antique Radio
This beautiful radio in a mahogany and Bakelite case 2024 was packed on November 14th 1925. It was made by the Kodel radio Corporation and this listing includes the guarantee from Kodel that it will work for one year! The radio was originally designed with a space in the back to hold the batteries that made it work. At some point this model was upgraded with a model 40 power supply from a 1928 Atwater Kent radio and could therefore be plugged in to a wall outlet. This listing includes the power supply and the Logodyne Standard Five radio. If you don't want the power supply, I can take $20 off the price. All of the dials on the front spin properly and the capacitor is inside respond appropriately. There are some flecks of what looks like paint on the front as shown in the photos. It looks like a guide to the tube placement is written on the back of the sign that says who used to own this radio. The mahogany case is in great structural shape and was cared for. The radio originally was $80.
