The frequency indicator doesn't move when turning the dial, it's snapped, but the radio will still change channels and play as it should. Your headphone wire acts as the antenna. I've installed a custom fitted belt from FixYourAudio.com into this cassette player for the best playback and gave it a thorough cleaning. Belt path, playhead, capstan and pinch roller were cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. Volume dial was cleaned with DeoxIT and gears re-lubricated with synthetic grease. I've also corrected the speed with a professionally recorded 3000hz calibration tape. Will ship via USPS Ground Advantage in a padded box.
