Old antique / vintage lacquered box with a 2024 painted scene

Description: Old antique / vintage lacquered box with a painted scene. I am a 2024 little confused about the age of this box, as the box its self I believe to be 19th century. But the date on the painting is 1968. So I do wonder if the painting has been added to an old box at some point, but I am not sure about this. Hopefully I have showed enough photos so you can make a decision of the age.

Size: The box measures - W- 15.6 cm, D- 11.3 cm, H- 6.9 cm

Condition: Minor scratches. The painting has a large chip on the castle.
