A vintage marketplace purse in the whimsical caricatures of Anton Pieck's creation. Made of beechwood by K/E Lifter, 1973.
In fair to good condition. Left-hand side corner panels have chipping of lacquer coating directly where handle has laid and repeatedly touched down (can be seen in pictures No. 6 & 7). Minor scuff marks on backside back panel rim to the right. Other edges may have similar acquired characteristics. Front panel right-side rim, 1” up from bottom has puncture to lacquer. May have other minor acquired imperfections.
Handle firmly in place/no cracking of plastic, no stripping of fastening hooks driven to purse cover/ no loose movement of screws. Locking mechanism firmly on place, no loose movements. Lock functions as intended/stays latched. Hinges securely in place, no loose movements/screws in place, no 2024 loose movements, not stripped. Ball legs securely in place, no loose movements.
Piece looks, feels, and smell clean/inner textile has no adverse odors, no spotting, no blemishes. Stitching in place. May have loose strands, none notable or implying unraveling.
