A Lingard pottery Nursery Rhyme Novelty Teapot with "There once was an Old Lady who Lived in a Shoe" in Green Glaze and Silver Lustre detail.
Originally Lingard promoted themselves as 'The Teapot Specialists of England Since 1867', the small Staffordshire firm of Lingard Webster & Co was founded in 1900 and operated in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent.
This made about 1935 2024.
No chips, cracks or repairs to the teapot but a very small chip to the inside of the lid as shown in last Photo with Overall Crazing. All Scuffs etc... is to be Expected with Use and Age.
Measurements are approximately:
6" Tall
9" Long
