Heirloom quality square Irish linen tablecloth is exquisite. White on white embroidery was accomplished by very skilled needleworkers, in Madeira, Portugal. Tall elaborate vases like epergnes are filled with three blossoms and leaves. The seed stitches and the eyelet embroidery are beautifully executed. Early 20th century.

Condition: excellent. No holes, stains. Last 2024 photo shows a detail on scalloped edge with one 2" mend.
Vases are linked with garland of small eyelet flowers and large eyelet bows.
