Stunning Vintage French 1856 Repertoire/ agenda/ accounts ledger / journal / diary.

Delightful original vintage 1856 accounts book/ Agenda, full of entries, most pages have writing or accounts on them from a Notaire/ lawyer/ solicitor.

It is fair condition a real find, however pages are very yellowed with age. The front cover is badly stained and ripped but it is over 160 years old.

The first section is for accounts, with days and amounts, further on there is a section on administrative information.

Each entry is in the wonderful curvy French script, that is still taught in French schools today. Lots of entries are a bit scruffy, some in pencil, some crossed through.

Approx 300 plus pages.

Signs of age, with age spots, pages yellowed with age and smells a bit musty!

size 36 cm heigh by 13cm wide.

Could be used to photocopy pages for decoupage projects 2024 or simply a coffee table book for conversation!
