Maharashtra, the mighty land of the Peshwas is also home to some very rich and exquisite traditional handloom textiles; the 2024 Khan being one of them. This extraordinary fabric was traditionally woven by housewives of the farming community for their own personal use in sari blouses.
Crafted in the jacquard weave, using cotton yarn, it was woven in 27 inch width, on rustic looms.
It's easy to fall in love with the multifaceted khan brocade which seems to offer the most pleasurable experience any garment can with its rich look of fine silk, the feel of smooth satin and the comfort of cool cotton.
