Vintage/Antique Egyptian(?) Ring Box 2024 with Brass Accents

This ring box reminds me of nothing so much as a timeless evening gown. It is well made, has beautiful proportions, and shows anything to tremendous advantage (as you can see). It is covered in navy fabric, with delicate brass wire around the top and bottom. It is in excellent condition. When I inspected it, I was able to find some minor wear 2024 on the top, but you have to look extremely hard to find any. The bed is covered in black velvet, and extends the ring toward the viewer so that it can be admired from all angles. The interior top is cream, with the name of the jeweller (Kalemdjian) and what I assume to be the location of the shop (Alexandrie). I suspect it is from a French-Egyptian background. (I immediately started creating a fanciful story involving Hercule Poirot, as soon as I saw it. To me it will always belong in Agatha Christie's “Death on the Nile”)

This box would do justice to any ring put into it, and would make a wonderful display piece.
