Each shelf receives 2 coats of protective finish after it is stained.

Made with a STURDY ROD BRACKET (see picture), our floating shelves have been designed and TESTED TO HOLD UP TO 75 POUNDS. Our Rod Brackets are one of the strongest floating shelf support designs on the market.

Our shelves can be mounted WITH or WITHOUT the use of wall studs. Our Rod Bracket design allows the shelf to be placed anywhere you want. The anchors included with your hardware have a strength rating of 236 lbs. in 1/2" drywall. However, attaching the Rod Bracket to a wall stud does increase the weight capacity of the shelf. Our Rod Brackets allow you to easily display dishes, books, crocks, and other heavy items on your shelves.
