Product code: Vintage 2024 Maddux of California Mrs. Cat Cookie Jar, Rare
Rare find. Maddux of California was established iby William Maddux of Los Angeles in 1938. They stopped making pottey in 1974. I'm unsure of the year she was made but they also made a Mrs. Bear and Mrs. Rabbit with the same base. Pictured in The wonderful World of Cookie Jars. She is remarkably great condition 2024 with the exception of a small spot on the left side of her scarf shown in the last picture. It looks like it may have been a factory glitch more than a paint chip to me. Please see all pictures. No cracks, crazing paint or glaze loss. She displays beautifully. It would make a great gift for a special cat lover or an exceptional addition to any collection. Thank you for looking.
