Product code: 2024 Torc glans ring

Not getting enough nibbles? Slip a beautiful Torc on your tackle and you're sure to set tongues wagging!

Iron Age torc necklaces inspired this design, with heavy twisted precious metal adorning the most desirable necks. Like the torcs of yore, this glans ring encircles your penis where the shaft meets the head, or "glans." It'll hug that groove all day, adding a little extra to your swing and gently tugging to remind you how sexy you look. The sweeping helical pattern is smooth and just deep enough to leave an imprint, but not to dig in. The gap in the ring is wide enough to accommodate the frenulum (nerve bundle at the front of the "helmet"), and the orbs to either side put a little extra pressure on a very sensitive area. The rings are made of bronze-infused steel (pictured for reference), then gold plated for the best balance between weight, cost, and body compatibility.

**Note:** Shapeways dramatically increased their prices in late June 2022, and the price of these Torc Rings has doubled as a result. With any luck, this will be a short-term problem, and prices will come back down soon. Thank you for understanding. **

The sizes listed are the inner diameter across the Torc ring, in millimeters. The rest of the measurements are the same, no matter what diameter you choose:

• Ring thickness: 7 mm (0.28")
• Ball diameter: 10 mm (0.39")
• Frenulum gap: 5 mm (0.20") at its narrowest
• Weight ranges between 26 g for the 15 mm Torc to 52 g for the 35 mm Torc.

I designed these Torc rings using FreeCAD software. I can't make the physical items, so Shapeways will print your ring on commercial 3D printers using metal powders, then electroplate it with gold. This process can take between two and four weeks, depending on their printing queue. Shapeways will ship your Torc directly once it's finished—hot off the press and uniquely yours!

There is some variation in the printing and finishing process, so each Tallywag Tackle Torc is unique. For completeness, I have included photos of the surfaces of both unfinished and gold-plated Torcs. There are some very small spots where the plating does not completely seal the surface, likely where small air bubbles clung during electroplating. The subsequent polishing process ensures that the surface is quite smooth and comfortable to wear. To limit discoloration near these spots, it is recommended that you keep the Torc out of salty environments, and dry immediately after washing.

If you're planning to wear yours all day, be sure to measure while soft 2024, or the ring will slip off. If you're unsure which size you need, loop a fabric measuring tape around your shaft, just below the ridge of your glans, then draw it snug. Record the measurement in millimeters: this is your circumference. Divide it by π=3.14 to calculate your diameter. Find the ring closest to, but greater than, your diameter. If your measurement is in inches, multiply by 25.4 before dividing by π. If you do not have a fabric tape measure, use a ribbon or string, then lay it out flat on a ruler.

Notice:

Cancellations are only possible if Shapeways has not yet begun production on your Torc, which means the window is less than a day. This is because they group together as many jobs as possible onto a shared "build plate," and once that is designed they will not change it. Please double-check your measurements before placing your order.
