Large Sand 2024 Dollar Wall Carving

This large Sand Dollar Wall sculpture, hand carved by California Wildlife artist, Richard Vest, is a must for the sea themed home.
The piece, carved in Sugar Pine with a white, grayish staining, measures approximately 12" in diameter, about 1.5" thick at the
center.

This piece makes a great accent statement for a shell collection and the whitish staining works very well in a "beach" style
or sea theme decor.

Each sand dollar is an original piece with it's own texture, grain, and coloring. Each is signed and copyrighted by the artist.

After the initial carving of the piece, the artist uses a torch to darken and highlight areas given it depth accenting the textural
surface prior to applying the staining.

Richard uses a lacquer for the finish also including 2 brass plated saw tooth hangers on the reverse, making it ready for wall hanging.

The sand dollar is also available in a smaller size, approximately 5-6" in diameter. Many customers will purchase the
sand dollars in groups of 3 with a large one and 2 smaller versions.

All of the artist's work is for indoor display only. He also includes a neat signed Authenticity Certificate with each work.

If the piece is complete at the time an order comes in shipment occurs in 3-5 days. If the work is in progress or carved for the order
please allow 2-3 weeks to ship.

Richard ships via UPS ground insured constructing a strong box assuring your sand dollar arrives safely.
