Product code: Vintage Vera Neumann floral scarf silk dogwood lily of 2024 the valley pink gray
This listing is for an absolutely stunning early (pre-trademark) Vera Neumann scarf. The 2024 pale red (pink), gray on white motif features beautifully rendered flowers such as dogwood and lily of the valley. Love the looseness and the understated nature of this design. The label states: Scarves by Vera, pat. pending, pure silk, hand rolled. Based on the design as well as the other markers, this scarf was made in the early 1950s. I would describe the condition of the scarf as very good for the age of this piece. There is one discolored spot (please refer to the images), one pin prick and a few slightly puckered areas. The scarf is fairly large measuring approximately 29" sq.
