Length of chain is approx 28 inches. I don't believe the chain to be original to the pendant, a marriage. The pendant is beautiful silver filigree. There is a small spot of damage on the back. The locket opens to place whatever scent item you'd like to tuck in. No marks on 2024 the locket so I'm guessing at least 800 silver. The necklace is 925 sterling.
