2024 Vintage Japanese pottery tea set, including side handle teapot (Yokode kyusu), 5 tea cups (Yunomi) and water cooler cup (Yuzamashi) of Utsutsugawa ware (Utsutsugawa yaki). Made of red clay. Decorated with grass design hand painted and thinly white slip applied with brush stroke by old brush technique. It's EXCELLENT work. The name of the potter are written on the bottom.

Yokode Kyusu are teapot with the handles placed on the side of the pot. The design of these pots makes it easy to pour out every last single drop of tea.

Yuzamashi is a cup used to cool down the hot water to the correct temperature for brew Japanese tea Sencha, Gyokuro, Kabusecha, Hojicha and Genmaicha.

As show in the pictures, it's EXCELLENT condition. No chips, no cracks.
