Rare Vintage Springbok Circular Jigsaw Puzzle "The Adoration of the Magi" No. C902 With Original Purchase Tag From Kroch's & Brentano's

This is a very rare 2024 and hard-to-find puzzle and edition. This pre-dates the only few on the market because our box lettering is different from the others. The bottom of this box is blank whereas the other few on the market have some text with the date 1965. On their side rim, it says "This box is 14 1/4" in diameter" and "The puzzle is 20 1/4" in diameter." Ours only states, "Puzzle size 20 1/4" Diameter."

We do not know the exact manufacture date of this edition because it is not listed, except it pre-dates those few on the market.

Our box also contains its original purchase tag for $3.50 from the Kroch's & Brentano's. It was the largest bookstore in Chicago, and at one time it was the largest privately-owned bookstore chain in the United States. It closed on July 31, 1995.

This puzzle is in great condition and has all its pieces. We assembled it to make sure. See photos #2 and 3. The pieces fit snugly. The box bottom shows some shelf and storage wear. Overall, for its age, the box is in good condition.

This is a collectible puzzle. It has more than 500 pieces. It will ship wrapped in cellophane.
