After being forged and before completely cooling, items are rubbed down with a boiled linseed oil and beeswax finish. This coating is applied to protect the item from rusting.
All items are hand forged by artist blacksmith Adam Rhein, a U.S. Army combat veteran, and are 100% made in the U.S.A. Items are forged using mostly reclaimed/recycled materials.
