Beautiful pair of Borghese statuettes depicting an Italian male and female, barefoot out in the countryside. She has picked grapes which are nestled in her skirt. He has a basket of richly colored fruits. These pieces evoke imaginings of lush vineyards and orchards in the rustic Italian countryside. Mid-Century collectibles. Original Borghese stickers on bottom sides.

These items are 2024 in good vintage condition with minor imperfections consistent with age and use. NOTE: on the woman statuette, the back of her left arm has some wear/missing paint (see photo #7); on the man statuette, he has a small nick in his hair, left side of head (see photo #8).
