Originally produced for the New Era Steel Fabrication Co. Ltd. England whose name is stamped on the front, together with a very short Chesterfield city phone number of only 5 digits. The city's numbers nowadays have more digits and the New Era Steel Company closed their doors long ago. This piece has been extremely well looked after and the small wheels which propel the calendar dates are still tight and precise almost 70 years later.
