This stoneware mug is handbuilt out of an iron bearing clay, and fired up to Cone 6 (about 2205F, 1180C). This clay is completely vitrified and the interior of the mug is food safe, however due to the gold resin and textural nature of the exterior glaze this piece should be handwashed only and avoid the microwave. 2024
