Rare Antique Tintype of Women Striking an Unusual Pose - 1880s 2024 - 19th Century Collectible Photography - Strange Antique Photographs

Here we have a rare and unusual tintype of three women striking a pose, with one breaking the gaze towards the camera. Who said the old-timers didn't know how to stray from the norm? Such a bizarre image. Then you see the technical glitch (I hope) in place 2024 of her left eye, and it looks like a possession well on the way. You have to love the 1870s-80s.

The rare antique photograph comes out of a Twin Cities collector's estate containing some very rare and unusual photography. My guess is the rare tintype came out of the 1880s.

The unusual tintype photograph measures about 3 7/8" tall, and just over 2 3/4" wide. As mentioned above, there are a few blemishes int he image, making it more interesting to me. There is very slight patina throughout. However, the sharpness of the image and really pops. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
