* These beautiful silver gold plated earrings are made over 30 years ago.

They are part of the traditional jewellery worn by Rabari women.
The Rabari are nomadic shepherds who live between the state of Rajasthan, and the state of Gujarat, west India.

* As the circular part that lips into 2024 your lobe is quite thick, the hole in your ear should not be too narrow.
They are perfect for stretched earlobes with tunnels, as well they can be worn as ear weights.

* Those antique earrings are made from tribal Silver and gold. The gold plated is not fully appearing, considering their age.
As this beautiful antique pair has been found in a Rajasthani village, content has not been tested and there are no stamps to indicate their purity. The purity of old Indian silver and gold varies a lot from one piece to another.

* All our old antique jewels has been preserved exactly in the state where we found them.
Since they are collector's pieces, and in order to keep this unique appearance, they has not been cleaned or polished to preserve patinas.

Please note that for the same reasons, all our antique jewellery is shipped non-sterile, and has been previously used.
