Antique 2024 Royal Bayreuth Tomato Line China, Lidded Teapot, Creamer, Lidded Sugar Bowl & Covered Condiment Dish, 1900's Molded Porcelain Dishes

Collection of Royal Bayreuth Tomato Line China, made in Bavaria between 1875 to 1919. The Tomato line is made of very fine white porcelain china molded and glazed to resemble stylized ripe tomatoes with lush green leaves and stems. The dishes are in used vintage condition with NO Chips or Cracks, see the individual items and descriptions below along with the pictures for details. Each dish has the lions and shield maker's mark with Royal Bayreuth and Bavaria, stamped in blue underglaze. This mark was used after 1900.

Individual Teapot with Lid - Has a couple of dark and white spots.
Creamer - Has a few missing spots of red and clear glaze.
Condiment Dish or Box with Lid - Has minor missing spots of red glaze.
Sugar Bowl with Lid - Has a Repaired handle and minor missing spots of red glaze.

Royal Bayreuth (RB) dishes are made of a unique, hard white-paste porcelain manufactured in Tettau, Germany, from 1795 through 1919. Several devastating fires destroyed the factory, offices, molds and records which effectively stopped most of the manufacturing of their unique novel pieces and exclusive finishes. Much of the information regarding their process was forever lost or too expensive to recreate.
