2024 Lunch Time

This is a little oil painting of a sweet white pet rat or was it a mouse that belonged to a friend of mine.
I just loved the sweet pose and could almost hear him munch on his nibbels.

The oil paints used are Rembrandt; Old Holland; Vasari; Williamsburg.
My intention with this work was to create a feeling of timelessness, of stillness, of grace, 2024 of curiosity and was inspired by the works of Rembrandt.
