Hand 2024 forged rose sculpture, handmade by Scottish blacksmith

Hey, this listing is for a handcrafted steel rose sculpture that i have made in my blacksmiths forge all done by anvil and hand hammer. The rose sits in a flame charred wooden base that is finished with oil.

First off i shape the petals with my cross pien hammer to give them a lot of texture, next i join all the petals together and using heat from my gas forge and tongs i bend and shape all the petals to the desired rose shape(this process makes each rose different from the last).
I also forge two leaf's and texture them with my chisel and finally weld them neatly to the stem of the rose. after this step i shape the stem of the rose over the bic of the anvil.
Each one of these rose sculptures is unique as i genuinely handmake each one from my forge in Scotland.

These sculptures can 2024 be displayed indoor or outdoor but the finish will last a lot longer indoors. Outside over time the thistle will develop a rusty patina on the surface. This is a nice look aswell. Please message me for other finish options such as paints etc, thank you.
