60's 2 Piece Chinese Genuine Qilian Jade Stone Wine Glass / Goblet Gift Set - Vintage Port Glasses In Box /Natural Deep Green Jade Drinkware

A beautiful vintage gift set comprising two bijou genuine Chinese luminous jade goblets from Gansu province. Often called 'the moonlight cup', the goblets are produced from fine-grained and beautifully fine ground Qilian jade stone.

The difference in character between the two is a lovely feature; one goblet is a mottled, deeper green jade, the other is a striated jade with various tones of olive and dark green. They feature super fine rims and bodies giving that translucent effect when held against the light, a turned stem tapering in to the base.

The set is unused and in pristine condition with original red/gold makers stickers on the box (slightly detaching at the base) and makers stickers on both glasses. They are available in 2024 their original fabric covered box which is comprised of two individual cotton covered boxes and a divider, all removeable.
