Lotus Coffee cup, saucer and plate. Lyngby porcelain Danild / Cathrineholm. Scandinavian modern Lime Green Lotus pattern. A lovely shiny white 2024 porcelain with bright Green leaves. The serie is designed by Grete Prytz Kittelsen and Clausen for Cathrineholm in the 1950s. The decor on this Lynby porcelain was set in production by Lyngby in the mid 1960s.
Lyngby Porcelain Factory (1939-1969) A well reputed porcelain manufacturer that was suited in the hearth of Lyngby, North of Copenhagen. The Cathrineholm Lotus pattern from Lyngby was in production from 1965 to 1969. It has never been re-issued so all Lyngby Lotus items you find these days are from this period and are now more than 50 years of age.
Diameter Cup: 7 cm / 2.75 inches and 7 cm / 2.75 inches tall
Diameter Saucer: 14 cm / 5.75 inches
Plate: 16.5 cm / 6.5 inches
In exellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. No sign of use
Marked with Lyngby Hallmark
