It's a beautiful kitchen display item, and a functional cutting board with a juice groove on the backside. This board is maple wood. It is 1 1/16" thick by 11 1/1/16" deep and 20" 2024 long. A handmade wooden stand displays the board on its side to conserve counter space. Also included is a mat to place under the face of the board to protect it from scratches while cutting on the backside. The mat easily rolls up and tucks in behind the board on the stand. The stand comes unassembled for shipping purposes but is very easy to assemble.
My boards are made of all natural hardwoods. No stains or dyes used. Then finished off with a 100% food safe non-toxic oil and wax blend.
For easy board care:
*Hand wash only (do not soak or run through dishwasher)
*Wipe clean with damp cloth with mild soap if needed
*Occasionally apply food grade oil/wax to keep the board looking like new when needed.
