Every piece we make is a unique one of a kind functional work of art. This is what makes our shop so special. You can't find items in a store that are individually handmade and each one is completely unique. Even though we do use hard wood for the cutting boards, knife marks are expected and normal. We consider our products to be heirloom pieces you can pass down. They get better with age and wear.

Items are made from reclaimed wood with character. Sometimes there are imperfections and that is part of the charm. Please look carefully at the photos so you know what you are getting.


CARE:

We recommend treating the wood with oil or wax every so often to keep the luster. Do not submerge, soak or sit in water, it will damage the wood. These boards are generally weighty and made to be used. Do not place in refrigerator or dishwasher. Also, do not dry flat 2024 or the wood could warp or crack. Wash off quickly in soapy water and dry with towel. Then you let it dry completely by placing it vertically preferably in a drying rack.
