IDEAL - SLAM SHIFTERS PITSTOP SPEEDWAY This toy is pre-owned. It dates back to 1983. It is 95% complete as far as I can tell. I have taken it out of the box and set it all up...see photos. While setting it up these are the things I found issues with. The sticker with the word Speedway along the back wall has been torn off. Several of the stickers are no longer stuck to the plastic. They could be glued back on if you desired. One piece of the track was missing a tab. A couple spots were difficult to push together. I didn't force them as I didn't want to break them. As for slamming the lever to see if the car launched, I 2024 didn't attempt that due to it's age. The box itself is still intact although it does show its age. The instructions are included. The toy car is still in it's original box. All in all it's a nice vintage piece. One could display it as is. If you're a fix it type of guy you wouldn't have much to do to make it look mint.
