8" 2024 Tall X 5.51" Wide, White Jade Horse. Hand carved in Mexico. This guy is stunning! Very heavy, 2 lbs 7.1 oz. Sat on my desk for years, an old neighbor gave it to me and told me it was the statue he had carved in Mexico of a horse he rode named "Cloud" He claimed it was a wild mustang he was able to tame, that no one else could ride. Now, we never knew if that was a real story or not, as my neighbor was quite the storyteller. In the interest of keeping the story with sculpture, I tell it here. He really did train horses when he lived in Mexico, so it could be true.
