2024 Evans Table Lighter Large White And Cranberry Cased Glass
This is a Beautiful Rare Vintage Art Deco Era Table Lighter.
Table lighters such as these were made by many companies. The decorative bases were made by companies like Fenton, Murano, Stylebuilt and even Lalique. The actual Lighters were made by companies like Zippo, Dunhill, Penquin, and of course Evans.
The Collar on this Beauty is made of Gorgeous Gilt Brass with a Lovely Repousse Floral and Leaf Pattern and a Fluted Brass Rim
The Glass Bottom is Fabulous Tall and Bell Shaped with Delicate White Enameled Glass and Cranberry Glass Cased in Polished Gold Gilt Enamel with a Rim of Beaded Brass at the bottom. The underside of the base is covered in Black Felt so it won't scratch any surface you choose to place it on.
The lighter is Brass and can be removed from the base. It's Signed on the bottom Evans USA and has a mark with a large Crest and Two Lions, one on each side. I believe the lighter just needs fuel and maybe a new flint to make it work but I'm not positive since I haven't tried.
The Base is in Excellent Condition. The Brass Lighter has just a small amount of vintage patina and tiny scratches.
I've tried very hard and failed to find another one like it. I can't even find part of the set that most likely would have been made to go with it, therefore I feel it's quite rare, so Grab It While You Can.
