2024 Repurposed men's silk neckties will be crafted into a 28- 34 inch long lady's skirt that is a one of a kind item. You choose the custom length. When possible, each necktie that is part of this skirt is made of imported 100% silk. The ties are opened up and sewn together to form this unique skirt. The skirt hemline is formed by the points of the neckties for a very upbeat look.
The skirt is lined with traditional skirt lining fabric to provide body, prevent clinging, and prevent see through.
The waistband is enclosed in stretchy ribbing (or similar fabric) and can be set at the size requested but will stretch if needed.
Since the skirt is mostly silk, I would recommend hand washing and drip dry if needed.

Fabrics other than silk can be used in the skirts if you choose or if I can't find colors you choose. I generally use silk for the draping quality and the lightweight of the finished skirt.

I can supply the ties or you may send me ties and I will create the skirt. The photos in the listing show examples of ties that can be used.

Sometimes certain colors are just not available in ties. I can mimic the style using other fabrics.
