Planters made with love are the best way to honor our plants and bring out the best of their natural beauty.

This item is made to order and therefore 2024 may take up to four weeks from the time of request to the time of completion.

First, the pot is hand thrown on a pedal potter's wheel. It's then allowed to dry for 1-2 days until firm enough to refine the shape and apply details without warping. The bottom is trimmed on the wheel, carved and painted by hand, and then sent through the kiln twice with any glazing done in between.


ALTERATIONS

This planter will be made with drainage holes, and with glaze on the inside. It is most suitable for swamp, jungle and rainforest plants that love humidity and wet soil but still need adequate drainage. If you would prefer no drainage holes or no interior glaze, please specify in the notes.

Dimensions vary with each planter. Approximate dimensions:
Height: ~5.25 in. / ~13 cm.
Width: ~5.5 in. / ~14 cm.

Variations in color and size are appreciated with handmade ceramic wares, so please note your planter may differ slightly from the photo. Since this baby is made to order, you can connect with me about any changes and customizations you'd like done to the design, color or shape.
