Allan Cyril Brooks (1869 – 1946) Canadian ornithologist and illustrator. Brooks painting style is more impressionist with a greater emphasis on the bird habitat. After his contemporary Louis Agassiz Fuertes' passing in 1927, Brooks was commissioned to complete the illustrations for volume 3 of 'Birds of Massachusetts'.
