Isis Fire 2024 Poi

Professionally crafted firedancing poi. Isis heads are among those that produce the biggest flame of all - so if you want a nice, really BURNING heads, this is the place!

Head parameters:
Small: 70mm x 70mm x 80mm, 130g
Medium: 70mm x 70mm x 95mm, 150g
Big: 70mm x 70mm x 110mm, 170g

Chain and swivel setups in the photos. NOTE - the deafult rope for swivel attachment is paracord. If you feel it will be too hard on your fingers there is an option to replace it with softer firetoys tether (very similar to the rope used in pod poi). Since this is a third variation and Etsy doesn't allow more than two please contact me via DM for this option (it increases the price by 2E for short version and 4 for long version).

You can order the same size, but heavier (additional weight inside), weight given without the fuel.

As a default each head is made to be detachable via spiral rings but we can embed technora inside the head to make more solid connection, similar to how practice contact poi are made.

What is Technora?
Technora is a brand of polyaramid fibers (with kevlar being another type of those). It is highly resistant to stress, friction and temperature (up to 500 degrees Celcius). When compared to chains it is much lighter and don't leave burn marks after spiral wraps or any type of move that connects the head with your body. It makes poi behave much more like practice gear so it makes transition from soft spinning into fireshow much smoother.

Advice - please take note that technora is not a chain. It is fire resistant, not fireproof and prolonged exposure to open fire (for example - leaving the leashes laying on top of burning heads) will damage or destroy it. To make sure it will serve you for the longest amount of time:
- NEVER soak your leashes in fuel (this is the single most important thing to know),
- don't leave the leashes within a range of the flame for longer than ten or so seconds,
- when dipping your heads leave the top 5mm unsoaked (it will soak the fuel when you squeez/otherwise remove the excess), it will leave a nice protection zone for the leash and won't affect the look or size of the flame

Technora has a higher burning point than kevlar and is much stronger so if you abide to those rules it will serve you long and well :) 2024
