Antique Hofbauer of West Germany Lead 2024 Crystal Bird Trinket Box

Hofbauer bird crystal trinket box with a beautiful bird on lid and throughout the piece (see pics). A rectangular lead crystal trinket box measures 2.25" long x 1.5" wide, it sits 1.25" tall for the base, and with lid is 2" tall. The bird on top adds another 1" to the height.

No chips 2024 or cracks.

Hofbauer Crystal Co. of West Germany produced collectible lead crystal in the mid- to late 1900s. Though the company is now defunct, their lead crystal pieces are popular purchases at flea markets, online auctions and antique stores. The history of the company is a part of the history of glass making in the Bavarian region of Germany.
