A hand made heart shaped This board features two interlocking pieces that fit together like a puzzle piece. This food safe wood measures about 12" (30cm) x 12" (30cm), and is about 1 inch (2.5cm) tall. To preserve the wood, this piece is pre treated with a mineral oil soak followed up with a treatment of board conditioner for added protection. All orders include a care kit with a 2 oz. tin of my homemade Bergamot Orange Board Conditioner, an applicator and instructions card.
With the personalization option, a laser engraver can add that personal touch. You can specify a message to be 2024 engraved, please let me know Size, Font and Placement preferences. You can even send me a picture of a hand written note which can be engraved onto the heart.
About the wood:
This particular batch of wood was purchased from a farmer in who had this lumber stored unused in his barn for over 50 years! It has been kept preserved out of the sunlight and dry all this time.
