2024 Right from an old Farmhouse. Estimated age is 100 years. One of A Kind box is hand-made of old wood clothespins, the faded gold-painted lid is topped with cushioned rayon fabric so the closed lid can be used as a pincushion. The padded interior of the box is in excellent condition except for a few fur bunnies. There is a die-cut applique on the bottom of the lid. There is some charming chippy paint on some of the clothespins, the brass closure takes a bit of effort to get it to work because the nail fastener slips around a little. But eventually it will close. This is characteristic of aged wood and metal. All in all it is in excellent antique condition. A wonderful addition to anyone's folk art /antique sewing collection.
