This cozy warm hand felted cowl collar/neckwarmer is hand felted
The perfect felt accessory to keep you snug this winter and looking elegant and unique.

I have made this by felting merino wool onto muslin cotton, Nuno felting, with silk fibers.

This piece is a mix of Reds and Rusty Oranges and has a beautiful wood button and I have embellished it with the sewing machine.

I will, of course, accept orders for a similar color and patterned vest as shown, though it must be remembered that each garment is individually unique and as such, no two are or will ever be, exactly the same.

That's means I can make this 2024 made to your collar measure.

By ordering your custom made piece you also have the freedom to play with the color choice and combination...
The buttons I use are made of wood, bone or horn, handcrafted, made by an artist at the Etsy.com community.
So know they are also unique and the stock I keep is varied.

CARE ~
Felted products are not able to be washed in an automatic machine EVER. Nor are they able to be dried using a clothes dryer/tumble dryer. Using these machines will ensure that the felted item will be pulled completely out of shape and then shrunk to around 25% of its original size.... or smaller.
f the water out. A towel can be laid over a (cake type) rack and the garment laid flat on the towel and allowed to drip and dry at room temperature. Do shape the item once it is laid on the towel.

Felt will shrink if tumble dried. Down to 10/15% of its original size. This is not repairable.
Felt will lose shape if machine washed. It may be unrecognizable. This is not repairable.


Wash only by hand, using cold water. A soft washing soap is perfect. Natural soaps are great because they are usually extra soft. After rinsing gently and getting all the suds out .. please REMEMBER no wringing at all. Not even gentle squeezing regardless of how tempting it feels!
