Hand Carved And Pressed Celtic Inspired Copper 2024 Necklace With Stainless Steel Chain

This pendant is a classic vintage Celtic/Norse profile. A great double dragon with interwoven knot work 2024. I crafted the main element from heavy copper sheet, hand sawn. Hand pressed into a steel die of an original design first carved into solid steel. Then using repeated cycles of annealing and pressing under tons the design is embossed. I enhanced this version by hand sawn piercing. The pendant is 38 x 53 mm including a strong bronze decorative bail.

The copper was treated with liver of sulphur for an antique patina.
