Gorgeous Italian Cameo/1950s/800 Silver 2024 and Marcasites/Camexco

Another exquisite Victorian revival hand-carved cameo from the Camexco Co. of Trieste, Italy in the 1950s. The details in the intricate carving include a triple strand of beads as well as a flower and more beads in the subject's hair. The brooch, which has a loop 2024 attached so that it can also be worn as a pendant, is surrounded by a 1/16" frame of 800 silver studded with sparkly marcasites. The cameo measures 1 3/4" long x 1 3/8" wide. It closes in the back with a rollover clasp that is in fine working order. This is a beautiful piece that will arrive gift-boxed with free shipping.
