The "Wavy": Cutting Board is a line of items that is unique and will not be replicated. The picture shown is a the item that 2024 will be received. The item is comprised of a surface made of maple and mahogany. The inlay shown is created from laminated strips of cedar, yellow heart, padauk, and purple heart. All woods were chosen for their natural colors and have not been dyed or stained.
Add On(s): All four sides are beveled with further reliefs on the short sides for perfect gripping. Also included with all Wavy Cutting Boards are rubber feet to allow for grip on smooth or wet surfaces.
Finish: All cutting boards are first submersed in a heavy coating of cutting board oil. After drying a further coating of natural beeswax finish is applied and buffed in with finishing steel wool.
Care: A card is included with care instructions. Do not let stand for long periods in standing water and avoid placing in the dishwasher. A simple rinse off with soap and water, followed by towel or air dry is the best method for cleaning. A periodic coating of food safe oil such as cutting board oil will allow for a lifetime of use.
