This frame is quite old, probably from the 1800s period, possibly earlier, and it is solid wood with interesting filigree in the corners. The frame measures about 14 3/8" long by 12 13/4" high by 1 7/8" deep. The inside opening measures about 10 1/8" by 8 1/8" so it can accept your art board or canvas or photo that measures 8" by 10". In fair condition, with some losses and cracks, and the kind of wear and dings and dents and small imperfections you would 2024 expect from something more than 100 years old. Old wood with classical or neoclassical design, with almost rococo influences, and I suspect the gold glitter paint is newer. The corners are tight and the frame has good structural integrity. It weighs over 1 1/2 pounds. No glass and no backer. Wired and ready to hang. In fair condition.
