This is a mug with red painting of birds and animals caricatures by Hozamagama, a Kyoto kiln of Kiyomizu ware.
A scene 2024 of a rabbit and a frog carrying a pot together. One frog and two rabbits are depicted.
The mug is made of porcelain, so there is no crazing and it is stain resistant.
The white color is also very strong, so the color of the drink can be clearly seen.
The slightly open mouth is very comfortable to drink from.
The rim is black because it is painted with iron, a finish often seen on works of art.
The figure of a rabbit leading a procession fills me with energy! This mug is decorated with red paintings of caricatures of animals and birds by Kozanji Temple.
