The main structure is made from 3/4" upcycled wood that is painted with a vintage teal blue and has a beautiful aged painted patina. This house is accented with hammered copper accents and has unique hand forged copper leaf details.
Houses are all constructed using heavy duty adhesive and nails/screws as required to withstand our Canadian winters. All houses are made with a double roof and floor system, which makes them outlast most other houses. All wood is obtained from sources that would have otherwise ended up in landfills. Made from 90% recycled materials. The house has a generous side door opening for easy cleaning. This particular house has a sturdy top ring for hanging.
Each house is made to appropriate specifications, that serve a variety of cavity nesting birds.
