The Dainty Deer is similar in feel to The Brave Hedgehog in that I wanted to create another image with a tiny, adorable creature among a 'forest' of giant flowers. And because it's Spring here in Seattle, daffodils seemed like the right fit. I kept the background abstract and focused on the play of warm colors to add to the cheerful scene.

Acrylic on canvas. 8”x10.” This painting comes unframed. Hardware and wire are on the back of canvas, and it is ready to hang.
