This vise was made Grand Specialties Company of Chicago Illinois about 1945, It has the patent pending marking that was changed after the patent was issued. It has been used and could use a good 2024 cleaning but has no damage. The jaws have a unique knurling pattern that I haven't seen on other vises. The quick action mechanism works but will need cleaning and lubrication. The often missing return spring is present. The jaws are 3 Inches wide. The handles are straight.
